About Game Release Radar
How release tracking works
Find games to follow, compare release windows across platforms, and track meaningful changes without treating every date as a promise.
Catalog facts and reviewed sources
Games metadata is provided by IGDB.
Game descriptions, dates and platform records come from the catalog and may be incomplete or delayed. A catalog link is attribution, not proof that we independently checked a publisher announcement. Game-specific source links are shown when available; their absence is stated.
Publisher-backed analysis is separately labeled with sources, publication dates and a review date. It does not verify every game in the live list.
Dates, windows and platforms
An exact day, month, quarter and year have different precision. TBD means no usable date window; the first day of a month or year is not a confirmed launch day. Coming soon includes windows overlapping today through the next 90 days, so a broad window does not confirm a launch in that period.
Platform-specific dates identify their platform and region. A global first-release date is not a promise for every port or region. Patch events and full releases are distinct. Consult the relevant publisher or store before making plans.
Understanding discovery labels
Discovery score uses exact-date proximity (past: 5; next 7 days: 50; next 30: 40; next 90: 30; later: 20), plus 5 per distinct platform (up to 20) and 3 per distinct genre (up to 15). Partial or missing dates add no date points. It is not popularity, quality or publisher verification.
Date confidence is a proximity heuristic, not a probability or source verification. An exact date is high through 30 days (including past dates), medium at 31–180 days and low beyond 180 days. Partial or missing dates are unknown.
Discovery groups are internal genre/date groupings, not named industry events or evidence that a game appeared at a showcase. Unsupported event tags are omitted. A recorded slip describes a later catalog date, not a prediction of another delay; Stable means no recorded movement, not a guaranteed release.
Freshness is not verification
Saved lists and page snapshots show what was available when captured. The live list can change after startup; catalog syncs and daily page refreshes can lag or fail. A build or saved-view timestamp is not a publisher announcement or an independent review.
A catalog date-change timestamp records when we observed a change. A source publication date records when its author published a statement. A review date belongs only to the labeled historical analysis. None guarantees that a future date will hold.
Historical examples, not current release status
These existing reviewed comparisons explain announcement scope and date changes. Their historical targets are not a current-status report; follow the cited sources for later updates.
